Jerry Alcon's Page

March 12, 2008

My Mission is to raise money that will help with the expenses a family faces when insurance won't cover medical costs for a loved one.

During a recent vacation to visit family in Las Vegas, NV, I was touched by my Uncle Jerry. Jerry was in a car accident on ______, 2008. The accident has caused injuries that Jerry may never fully recover from. He went from a __ week long stay in the hospital, straight to a rehab center, where he and the family currently work toward some kind of a recovery.

The easy part for Jerry is the support system he has. Everybody in the family has joined in supporting his wife, Karen, and their children, Selina, Justina, and Gerald Jr., to visit, sit with, talk to, and assist with bills that are piling sky high. Unfortunately, Karen must continue to work full time while wanting and needing to be by her husband's side. The stress of the accident is wearing on each individual family member. The worry of Jerry and his injuries is a constant, but the hospital bills should be the least of any person's obligations after such an accident.

I believe that change starts with one person, and my person is Jerry Alcon. Please help Jerry and the family to relax and find comfort in knowing that everything behind the scenes is cared for. Of the pledge's collected, 100% will go towards Jerry's treatment, and any additional funds will be given to the rehabilitation center directly. If this pledge page gathers as much attention as I forsee it will, I'll continue to give all donations to families in need of medical assistance without the means to pay the bills.

I believe in this cause and the idea of sparing all families any medical financial worry...I hope that you do too.

Thank you for your time in reading my words and pledging to Jerry.
